Thanks to the fabulous Lisa Warrener for the wonderful introduction to New York curator Amanda McDonald Crawley who took me under her wing and out on brilliant Bronx and Lower East Side art tour today! Just brilliant - thanks Amanda for the great arvo and for introducing me to artists and art place I never would have known about or visited on my own. #arttour #galleries #art #streetart #streetartporn #love

STOP 3: Apartment solo, South Bronx. Not that I know anything about street art but I loved this experience of seeing ‘Nestled in Graffiti Roots + Power’ by Olga Correa in her Bronx apartment: “The existing list of female graffiti artists only scratches the surface. Any field, dominated by men, habitually excludes the greatness of women. Puerto Rican, South Bronx raised graffiti artist Olga Correa has definitely been overlooked, but not anymore.” @olgafromnyc http://www.blankaamezkua.com/aaa3a/ #graffiti #femalegraffiti #bronx#artist #strong

Sim respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which I create and exhibit art. I pay my respects to Elders past and present, as well as to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the wider Melbourne community and beyond. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. I acknowledge that I work and live on the country on which Members and Elders of The Wurundjeri people and their forebears have been custodians for many centuries and on which Aboriginal People have performed age-old ceremonies of celebration, initiation and renewal. I acknowledge their living culture and unique role in this region's life.
